It's not specific to any particular group, including autism spectrum disorder. In other words, it's not used to describe people who have autism or other developmental differences. Ask questions that you don't want truthful answers for. Make sure you wear uncomfortable clothes just because it looks good.
You can even forget to take off the label to get additional neurotypic points. The word “neurotypical” refers to people who have a brain that works similar to that of most of their peers. Neurotypical people develop skills, such as social or organizational skills, at about the same rate as other people their age. They can also tolerate change, the interruption of routines, and distractions without much difficulty.
